This note is an active practice surface for English sentences I want to make natural in speech.

It is not a grammar notebook, a translation notebook, an explanation archive, or a permanent record of memorized sentences. A sentence belongs here only when I would actually want to say it or write it myself.

The goal is not to collect many sentences. The goal is to keep a small set of useful sentences close enough that they become easy to say without translating first.

How This Note Works

New sentences start in Inbox. A small number of sentences move into Active for current practice. Once a sentence feels natural enough to say without slow reading, it moves to Mastered.

Mastered is not permanent storage. It is an exit checkpoint. After later review, remove the sentence from this note, unless it is reusable enough to become part of Author’s English Repertoire.

Active is intentionally small. It is for sentences currently being practiced, not for storing every useful sentence.

Active

Sentences I am practicing now.

Inbox

Sentences I may want to practice later.

  • This sentence doesn’t work for me.

Mastered

Sentences that feel natural now and are waiting for one final decision: remove them, or move selected reusable expressions to Author’s English Repertoire.
